The Tayiana Foundation

Programs

Our Programs

At Tayiana Foundation, our programs are designed to protect, empower, and uplift children, young people, and communities facing vulnerability and systemic barriers. We work directly within communities to address interconnected challenges such as harmful cultural practices, limited access to education and basic needs, and the long-term impacts of trauma on mental and emotional wellbeing.

Through education, awareness, and community-led outreach, we collaborate with families, schools, community leaders, and local organisations to promote safety, dignity, and opportunity for all. Our approach centres on prevention, empowerment, and healing, supporting individuals not only to survive, but to thrive.

By strengthening community knowledge, encouraging open dialogue, and providing practical support, we aim to create environments where every child and family feels valued, supported, and heard.

What We Do

Our Programs

01

Ending FGM & Early Marriages

A compassionate, community-driven initiative advocating for the protection of girls from harmful traditional practices. We work with local leaders, families, and survivors to raise awareness, provide support, and create safer paths for girls to thrive.

02

Community Support & Mental Health Empowerment

This pillar focuses on uplifting families in vulnerable circumstances by supporting basic needs, offering psychosocial awareness, and helping children and youth navigate emotional trauma. Through community outreach, referrals, and safe-space engagement, we foster overall well-being.

03

Access to Education & Essential Needs

We ensure children from disadvantaged households can access education, school supplies, sanitary care, and daily essentials. Our aim is to reduce barriers so every child can learn, grow, and realise their full potential.

04

Youth Empowerment & Life Skills

Focused on giving the next generation tools for success. We create opportunities for young people to learn practical skills, build confidence, and find mentorship so they can shape brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
